Meet Our Otology/Neurotology Specialists
Dr. Jennifer Maw
Dr. Maw specializes in cochlear and middle ear implantation, stapedotomy and chronic ear and vestibular surgery. She is board-certified in otolaryngology in the United States and Canada. She is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at Stanford University and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Dr. Maw has participated as an investigating surgeon in the FDA clinical trial of cochlear implants. Her current research interests lie in tissue adhesives and bone cements in otologic surgery.
Dr. Michelle Inserra
Dr. Inserra specializes in chronic ear disease, hearing loss, Eustachian tube dysfunction and vertigo and balance disorders. After her medical training and residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Stanford University and Hospitals, she completed a fellowship in Otology and Neurotology at the California Ear Institute.
Dr. Inserra is also a medical consultant and a member of the medical advisory board for Earlens, a hearing aid startup.
